It has also been discussed on TV shows (Good Morning America) and with many philosophers, physicists, and other positions.

The HistoryMaharishi Mahesh Yogi

This popular meditation was brought to the public by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi 50 years ago. He is a certified instructor and has taught millions through his books and classes.  Maharishi has many interesting books that range from the years 1963-2003 and has an education in philosophy from when he attended university in 1942.  This form of meditation has just slowly blown up over the 50 years.

How does it work?

Transcendental Meditation is when the mind refreshes, it allows the conscious mind to experience quieter levels and transcend to beyond the finest impulse of thought.  You then reach pure consciousness, where creativity and intelligence lie. Your mind will be extremely relaxed but yet wide-awake and your mind and body will be refreshed and replenished.  This method is great to reduce stress, anxiety, insomnia and to reach inner-peace.
